It’s similar to the Circle of Life — only without all the dead Lion Kings. The Circle of Search Engine Optimization moves us all…

The Circle of SEO, it moves us all.
SEO or Search Engine Optimization means writing articles that will allow you to be found on a search engine like Bing or Google when someone searches for information on a specific topic.
Completing the Circle of SEO
The first step in SEO is making sure your content has value. Value and purpose.
If you have no destination then all roads lead there.
Let me explain.
Purpose is what will help drive value when you write. Is this article you are writing going to help a specific group of people with a specific thing?
For example — will it teach Coaches how to better understand how SEO works for their business?
When you write with purpose, you need to add value. How is your article going to help achieve the purpose or goal of the content?
If your goal was to teach someone how to eat better — a goal for many coaches — you need to define how far into the topic you will go and how much your audience can learn at one time.
Maybe you can talk about how learning to read food labels on packages can help your clients cut down on sugar or salt?
Then you can explain how they read food labels — what to look for, ingredients to look out for and how to calculate the servings per food container.
Show a couple images of what you’re talking about and give it an intriguing yet descriptive title. Something like, “Learning To Read Food Labels Will Get Your Health Cooking On Track.”
Now it’s time to share your content.
If you don’t share it, no one will find it.
If you build it, they will not come. You’re not Shoeless Joe Jackson, Ray Kinsella, or Kevin Costner.
Share on social media, but DO NOT, I reapeat DO NOT share it on all your platforms at the same time.
There’s nothing more annoying than getting 6 notifications on your phone for the same article posted on Twitter, Facebook, Instagram, LinkedIn, etc…
Stagger your posts on different platforms to different times of day or different days. Also, post your content with different images or quotes a few days later on each platform. Then post it again a week or two later.
Maybe make it into an inforgraphic — video — slideshow… share share share.
Get more life our of your content so you don’t have to write as much, as often, to seem relevant and fresh.
What About The Circle of SEO?
What do you think happens when people read your content, start liking or commenting on it, sharing it to their friends, or linking to it from their blogs and websites?
That’s right. Pat yourself on the back.
Your article will get an improved search ranking!
And now you have more people looking at your website and social media to view your new content and you can do it all over again.
That, my friend, is the Circle of SEO.
